I enjoy working with acrylic on canvas, I also work with a variety
of mixed media including collage. Abstraction, colour and texture
are particularily important to me. As I get older, a lot of my work
has moved towards abstracion. This is a result of exploring my own
inner journey and trying to find a language that expresses that
journey. Another recent discovery has been stories such as'Sealskin
Soulskin', and other ancient tales. I find these stories can speak
to us on a deep level and they are a real source of inspiration
for my painting.
I moved to Ilkley in '93. Have exhibited in a number of joint exhibitions,
many of them with AVA members.
