Statement
Currently working with junk - scraps of metal, plastic, etc that
I impress into plaster and/or ceramic. This work is about rehabilitating
detritis, wanting to make something out of the most unpromising
material. MY other work involves photography and printmaking, the
latter with adapting photographs in Photoshop and underlaying with
text.

Teaching history of modern art in various guises for Leeds University

Artistic Ambition
In the short-term, to enable people to appreciate the value of the
discarded and ignored.
In the long-term, to link the discarded with a political sensibility;
a marrying of that with the poetic.
